Core Academic Excellence

While Peninsula21's digital and STEM curriculum is distinctive, rigorous, high-quality instruction in the core subjects of English and Mathematics will be retained and valued.

Standards-Based STEM Learning

The curriculum will deliver the full Victorian K-6 Digital Technologies curriculum, ensuring deep understanding of data representation, networks, and problem-solving strategies.

Students will progress through highly structured algorithmic thinking pathways that provide flexibility for them to move forward at their own rate without a defined end limit. It is likely for them to excel well beyond grade-level expectations in computer science.

Hands-on Tech Environment

Industry-experienced educators will guide students through real-world tech projects, fostering growth mindsets and helping them build strong algorithmic habits.

Our campus will combine modern makerspaces, robotics gear, and software tools to create an environment where every future engineer or developer can thrive.

There will also be opportunities for play, with students exploring their own ideas with tech as a tool as they venture into their own unknown with freedom to innovate and create.

Sustainability & Ethics

Developing digital solutions isn't just about code. We will emphasise how systems meet current and future community needs while evaluating sustainability impacts.

We will intentionally integrate digital tools to provide rich, interactive experiences, ensuring a healthy balance with offline learning opportunities — constantly reinforcing that tech used thoughtfully can do so much for the greater good.

This also adds an important dimension: the consideration of consequences. Hypothetical thinking — "what if?" — alongside ongoing monitoring of outcomes when creating and innovating forms a core part of our reflective practice.

Bridging Code and Community

Peninsula21 will employ fully qualified tech-focused teachers who leverage advanced systems to ensure world-class conceptual understanding of programming and digital ecosystems.

Educators will teach students to define complex problems, decompose them logically, and synthesise working algorithms via continuous testing and iteration.
